What to Include in an Intervention Letter

The letter should start simple and come from the heart. It should express love for the addict and show genuine concern. It should discuss the good times you remember about them when they made you proud. Maybe a time they were helpful to you. This approach should keep them from being on guard and getting angry. Next, is an option part of the letter. tThis will include your understanding of addiction as a disease and your desire for them to get professional help in a rehabilitation facility.Next, you should offer your first hand experience with them of the bad times. Then, you should repeat your love and concern for them and ask they accept the help.
